What are some of the things to expect in a perfect Guyana outing during the night? Is it so flexible to suit various tastes and prefernces? Night life can be quite interesting but is a matter of choice I guess.Where can the major hot spots be found?

I haven't really found any great websites, but check out this one, there's one article describing the nightlife pretty well, more an overview. If anybody knows a better website, please tell!

Here are the must see places in Guyana1. Kaieteur Falls. It costs north of $210 U.S. to go, but it is worth it as the falls are breathtaking and untouched. 2. anta Mission. This is an Amerindian (native people of Guyana) village not too far outside of Georgetown. Makes a great day trip. 3. Arrowpoint Resort. On the creek a little farther up from Santa Mission. They take you on a walk through the rain forest, demonstrate cassava bread making, and stuff you with delicious Guyanese food. 4. Shanklands Resort. Overlooks the Essequibo river. Peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. 5. Baganara Island Resort. Another resort located on the Essequibo river about 50 miles in the interior from the Atlantic Ocean.

Upon browsing the net, i have found some good place to hang out during a girls nightout in Guyana, ofcourse you could go out with some boys as a group if you want.Buddy’s Night Club on Sheriif Street offers a wide selection of music to dance the night away. Blue Iguana located at 5th & Light Street Albertown caters for the young crowd that prefers an energetic setting. Windies Sports Bar, Middle Street provides sports entertainment on a big screen TV while you sample their exquisite local and international cuisine. Le Bistro 176, on Middle Street – sit back and relax in a quiet setting and enjoy the pub while you sample their long list of local and international wines, cocktails, whiskeys, rums, etc. Le Meridian Pegasus, Sea Wall Road, Kingstown provides live band performances at weekends with music from the 70s & 80s, Soca, Indian and Reggae as they tease you to your feet.

I think pale-o´s question was geared to night life. You know, partying and booze and shows, etc. Guyana is certainly like any other place. Many time I have just left my hotel and hailed a cab. They know the whole story and will take you right where you want to go. Of course, they should be hotel cabs, or guys know at the hotel. These times you never know where a mugger can be lurking!

Guyana is a beautiful country, but it is pretty dangerous right now, so nightlife is something that one should be wary of. Go with people that you know. This way, it would eliminate the need to find out where to go while there, and it would also ensure, a certain degree of security, as well.

I have been to Guyana before. It really is a nice place, but beyond what the eye can see, however. It may seem gloomy and really just full of poverty and more, at first, but one is sure to find that there is more to Guyana, than the outlook that is shown by the media.

Here is why you have to visit GuyanaThe tumbling rivers and dense rainforests of Guyana are filled with extraordinary natural sights. Kaieteur Falls, where the 400-foot wide Potaro River plunges 741 feet downward from the Pakaraima Plateau, is one of the world's great waterfalls. The magnificence of Kaieteur stands beyond any comparison in its majesty and sheer size. You can also visit the striking beauty of the Orinduik Falls, the Marshall Falls, the Kaieteur Gorge and remote Mount Roraima - the inspiration for Conan Doyle's Lost World.
