I've been aiming at acquiring recipes from all around the world for my restaurant. I've been successful so far, but I'm looking for some kind of dish from Oman or any middle eastern area to complete my new special. In all my years of cooking I've never heard this is "Oman" food or anything of the sort. Recipes anyone? Cultural dishes?

If you want to complete your recipe then your best resource are the search engines. Just type away the type or name of the dish you are looking for and there is an 80% chance that it would end up there or someone has posted a blog or website about it. Study and do not underestimate the power of the web 2.0 engine for everything can now be looked up there.

Greg, I am sure Hendrichs is not saying anything new to you..are you sure you have never had acquaintances from the middle east in all your cooking life? If you are really eager to have these recipes, then form social networks with other cooks. However, you have the web at your hand tips. Finding what you need should not be really hard...you will even have such a large variety to choose from
