Does anybody recommend and good bars or nightclubs in Philippines?

Where do alot of Americans hang out at in Philippines?

In Cebu City you can find them in Robinsons or McDonalds (expecially the FAT ones in McDonalds).

ha ha.. the fat ones? are you saying something about mcdonalds?

not all people who eat mcdonalds are fat, thats such a sterotype. you dont think skinny people who just do not gain weight easy also eat @ Mcdonalds.

The healthy ones don't eat at McDonalds. The ones that care about the environment don't eat at McDonalds.

I don't agree when you say healthy people don't eat at McDonald's. I have 3 kids and my husband and I have a very healthy lifestyle. We live in a small town and some nights after the kids have a game or something we eat there since there are no other fast food restaurants near us.

You are deluding yourself if you think you are healthy and you eat at any kind of fast food restaurant.

If you were healthy you'd have some fresh fruit waiting for your family to eat after a "game or something."

Maybe that Alzheimers is kicking in early...

Your crazy if you think someone who eats fast food a couple times a month can't be healthy.

Reply #9 Manny from San Jose, Costa Rica (Contact Member) -

Do you dump a few teaspoons of sand in your gas tank a couple times a month... because it won't hurt anything?!?!?!? ahahahahah!!!!

*IF* you were healthy and then ate at a fast food restaurant you'd probably feel ill and likely vomit.

Once you get your body away from the cooked, rancid grease diet... you'll never go back... not even for one meal. You'll also learn that you can easily fast for a few meals or even days if decent food isn't available.

Back to the subject now, what would be good night clubs to go to for the young crowd?

Exciting, interesting, and catering to every taste is the never ending Cebu nightlife. Filipinos like to sing, dance and drink, so almost every night there is something happening. Cebu entertainment consists of several places where you can try karoake or listen to a local band play pop music.

Cebu Dance Clubs and Discos

Sunflower Disco on Salinas Drive is the biggest disco in Cebu. It's crowded on the weekends and there is a live band that plays dance music. Sunflower is a little more expensive than other bars in Cebu and it does get loud. There is always an eclectic mix of people and they have a dance contest on Thursday. The area on Salinas Drive near Sunflower is where several Philippine bars and restaurants are located.

Club Vudu at Crossroads is a hip place for the higher status crowd. It's a little smaller than other clubs but hopping and popular on the weekends and weeknights. Check out the upstairs lounge where funky and trance music plays.

The fat ones at McDonald's? I can see that, especially if eaten on a daily basis. Did you know that their sweet teas are packing as many calories as a Big Mac? Try that one on for size.

Interesting how the topic in here shifted from where Americans hang out in Phillipines to whether those hanging out at a particular joint have a healthy point. That is beside the point but if I am to eat my two pence worth of knowledge, feeding on fast foods does not at al make you healthy. Get used to eating fresh food and fruits. The fact that you do not fall sick often does not mean you are healthy.

Well, gents, I must make a confession on the internet. I am one of those culprits that sneaks into a McDonald´s once or twice a month, maybe more, and has Big Mac. I take it out in a bag, even with an apple pie sometimes! So no one can see me. Regular clandestine operation! They are sooo good!

The nightlife in the Philippines, like in any other place in the world, offers a varied platform to make a personal choice. Entertainment here adds color to a tour in this archipelago. There are many exotic night clubs, jazz clubs, discos, cinemas, theaters, casinos, bars and clubs. Manila is the trendiest in night spots.

The dress code too is flexible(you can decide to either be formal or casual)

For that reason therefore, when you hit the Philippines, hack back any thoughts of unhealthy diet(s) and make sure you are at least part of one activity of the exciting night life.

There will also be the unique and rare chance to sample the culture of the Filipinos. Find out more about the food and the way of life.

They might be what you need to get off lots of junk.

You will find that in most of the travel guide websites. Does not seem like a really good reason to fret. Handle the basic requirements like travel and so on and some of these concerns will take care of themselves.

There is as well the possibility that whatever suggestions will come your way will not be what you are looking for.

Nothing beats first hand experience. Source for credible info if at all you must.

I love to drink at a bar, but I do not like to carry home the aside effects of such actions. This is why it is always best to leave the heavy drinking for when at home, basically, and no other time would truly be appropriate. People still love to get 'sh*t' faced though!! There's just no stopping that one.

I did not really mean to call the term as slang, but what had been mentioned, prior, simply means stone drunk over in the United States.

I am sure most people would have heard of it before.

When you are already in the Philippines, you will certainly see lots of bars and restaurants where you can hang out and have fun. I agree that the best thing to do when searching for the best place to hang out is by inquiring on some travel guide websites that are so many in the net.

Philippines is such a good place to pay a visit and have a nice time while in there.

Hmmm.. regarding the question on where are the best place to hang out in the country of the Philippines, well you will sure to find them all over the country! It is because the people there are fun loving and are famous for being party goers and bar hoppers, they just love to have fun, that is what I love about this country. So make your stay as fun as possible.

Yeah, I have been in the Philippines before and I must say that the country indeed is a nice place to have fun and relax. There are lots of great bars and restaurants there and for those who would want to dance, there are discos all over the place. You simply got lots of things to discover there in the Philippines. Have a good day everyone and keep those posts coming.
